Foundation scholarships span the City of Fredericksburg as well as surrounding counties. Each scholarship has different award criteria: some apply to a specific county, others are to support a particular field of study, etc. We encourage students to visit our website (www.cfrrr.org) or speak with their school guidance counselor about which scholarships apply to your circumstances. In order to apply for a scholarship you MUST be a graduating senior. Students can apply for competitive scholarships using our online scholarship application form. Students that are interested in Math and Science should apply for a SEAP 2011 internship. The SEAP provides an opportunity for students to participate in research at a Department of the Navy (DoN) laboratory for eight weeks during the summer.

The goals of the SEAP are to encourage participating students to pursue science and engineering careers, to further their education via mentoring by laboratory personnel and participation in research, and to make them aware of DoN research and technology efforts, which can lead to employment within the DoN. SEAP provides competitive research internships to hundreds of high school students each year.

Online application opened on 15 October 2010 and closes on 26 January 2011.

Please see Mr. Nazigain or Mrs. Zambeck for more details.

Spotsylvania Towne Center College Night

Wednesday, October 20, 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Need to figure out what college you want to attend?
